Blind Guitarist Plays “All I Want Is You” on Stage With U2

Over the weekend, at a U2 concert in Nashville, Tennessee, lead singer Bono spotted a man holding a sign that read “Blind Guitar Player.” In a display of awesomeness, Bono invited the man holding that sign, Adam Bevell, onto the stage to play “All I Want Is You” with the band. And though the video is sullied by an overexcited cameraman who can’t shut up throughout the performance, it’s well worth a look.

Too often, critics focus on the excesses of U2 — the boys at Sound Opinions are notoriously down on everything the band’s done post-Joshua Tree — but we’re with Heather Armstrong of on this: Bono is just damn good for this world.
