I’m sitting on the tiniest of beds in the tiniest of cabins on grand maritime vessel the Scotia Prince bringing you the first-ever nautical edition of A Few Choice Words… Does this make me a geek for bringing my laptop on vacation with me? Does it make me an intrepid new soul for attempting to expand the scope of my little corner of the web? Or, does it simply make for an interesting enough anecdote to begin this entry with?
Regardless of your answer, I must tell you that this day has begun and is now ending in the simplest of ways. We woke up early at Julee’s place. We are now preparing to hit the sack early. The whole day in between has simply been an exercise in killing time between fits of sleeping.
We did see X2 for the second time, which was just as good as the first. We did eat lunch at Uno’s, which is something I’ve been longing to do for a while. And, I did manage to get sick again after a couple days of relative easy living.
There was some time spent in Portland walking along the ocean. There was a great deal of time sitting in our car waiting for the boat to arrive. And, there was a great deal of thought put into the structure of these last two paragraphs — a bit too much thought, if you ask me.
On that note, I shall depart for beddy-bye time now.
