The following reflection was written in 2003, when I was between 25 and 26 years old.
We got an April Fool’s Day snowstorm my sophomore year of college and it was big and bad. I think every storm we got that winter was awful but this one was even moreso because it came out of fucking nowhere.
I don’t remember much else about it, but it was a significant event and I thought I should mention it. I think my parents lost a bunch of electronics in the storm when a big tree limb fell on the power lines. Among the things blown up and fried was our old Nintendo, which had been running my Dad’s baseball game nonstop for a couple of years. None of us knew what he would do with his spare time now that he had lost that outlet.
Uhm, that’s it.
