Babble or Scrabble?

I don’t know how I’m going to make it through tomorrow but I will do it because my class is an interesting class and I want to learn. I would also like to get some sleep. Sleep is good, or so they tell me. I’m not sure whether it’s good because I rarely get any of it. Those times that I do, I don’t really remember it. That makes forming an informed opinion on whether sleep is good a little bit tougher than it should be.

One of the reasons I write in this thing is just to keep up with the practice of writing sentences. Every writer needs to do two things with their day: read and write. If you don’t do those two things you’re not a writer. You don’t have to do them every day actually. You can take vacations. But, uhm, I don’t know what I’m talking about.

If you want to know how serious I am about this no unnecessary carbohydrate dietary adjustment then know this — I bought a sausage and cheese biscuit from Burger King on the way in this morning, because I was running extraordinarily late, and even though the biscuit was crying “Eat me! Eat me!” I threw that awful, fattening piece of dough away and I just at the sausage by itself. People looked at me funny but then again, they always do.

And class was good. It went well. We do a lot of writing and I’m seeing that maybe I could be cut out to teach writing. It could be an actual possibility.

But, I’ll have to make it through all of this first — work, writing, MFA, marriage, buying a house, having a kid — and I don’t know why I used to the two emdash thing in this sentence but I wanted to, so there.

I’m going to bed now. I’m sleepy.
