The NFL Draft distracted me from getting my schoolwork done today, just as it did last year. Hopefully, I’ll have more time to work on things tomorrow. Of course, we’ll have the normal Sunday chores of grocery shopping and laundry to do but I’m sure I’ll find time to get my outline written, even if I don’t get into the actual writing I need to do.

The Pats made some interesting moves, none of which I’ll get into because I know they won’t make any sense to you. I’ll just say that I was really pleased with being able to watch the draft. It’s like an oasis in the middle of the football drought that lasts most of the year. Come Monday it’ll all be over and it’ll be back to baseball and baseball only. The Bruins are done and the Celtics will be done by tomorrow afternoon.

Anyway, it’s time for bed now. I’m sure I should have gotten more done, but I’m not going to beat myself up over it. Stef and I actually got out to see a house this afternoon and though it was a sucky house we did meet up with an agent who we might work with. The thing with building on my parents’ lot doesn’t seem like it’s going to work out, so we’ve decided to start looking around again.

That’s it. I’m done.
