No More Baseball For Me

In general, I am not allowed to watch whole Red Sox games anymore. It seems they always run into trouble when I watch. I know that seems illogical, but it’s true. Tonight they were going along great and then all of a sudden the wheels came off and it was a mess. I turned off the TV right as they were going to extra innings, hoping they’d do better without my eyes on them. I guess I’ll find out tomorrow if it worked.

I watched the game tonight because I was frustrated that Stephanie was staying late at work and I didn’t feel like reading. I get so mad when people feel this obligation to stay past their allotted working hours to finish up things or, as Stef put it tonight, to "Catch up." They pay you to be their 40 hours a week. Anything you give them extra is evidence that you’re a sucker. At least that’s how I see it.

Although, now that I think about it, Stef might actually get overtime. Whatever the case though, I was irked and I decided to watch the game.

I’m glad to see so many people stopping by lately. All the comments over the past couple of days have been really wonderful and they’ve reminded me how much I miss everyone. Once we get moved in, I really want to get back on track with people socially. That’s very important to me.
