I stopped by the local gym today to get going on that front, but I still haven’t found the courage to call my doctor and set up an appointment to get my troops tested. Is it odd that I use the term troops? I’ve just always liked giving silly names to things, I guess. Anyway, I’m sure I’ll get around to it by the end of the week, as I promised myself I would, but today was one of those lazy days when you don’t feel like doing anything. And really, I didn’t do anything. I didn’t really do anything at all.
I started off the day by not doing my writing. I was tired because I got in late after the haircut and hanging at Fred’s. I ended the day by not doing the extra reading I wanted to get done and instead watching Extreme Makeover: The Home Edition on ABC and then the Red Sox game. I also did a little surfing of The Sims 2 site. It was almost eight o’clock before I remembered to get up and make dinner.
So, all in all, things are getting back to normal here. I’m avoiding my work, watching lots of useless television, and procrastinating over simple chores like making a phone call.
I will stop now before I descend into a pit of negativity.
