I’m falling asleep watching the Patriots preseason game that I’ve been looking forward to all week and that’s rather disappointing, but I’m still glad it’s Friday and I’ve made it through. I’m looking to do some shopping this weekend, some reading, and some cleaning as well. There’s one little strip of wall that needs a coat of paint. I’m talking about a really little strip here. I want that done, too. Plus, I need to cover up the wires of the home theater’s satellite speakers. I have a plan for that too and I want that done.
If I find some time, I’d also like to relax for a little bit. I hope that won’t be a problem with Mister Slave Driver, who resides in my head.
Mr. Slave Driver is probably upset with me because I spent some time today reading reviews for the Apple iBook, thinking about how cool it would be to own one. I’m upset with me, too. I have a computer, not a year old, and I don’t even think I’ve begun to figure out all of the nifty things it can do. It doesn’t give me problems for the most part. It’s paid off. Why am I thinking about a new computer now?
Well, it has to do with seeing a coworker’s PowerBook a few weeks ago. It has to do with having a slow laptop which I hardly use right now. It has to do with a lot of things. It has nothing to do with being rational or considering a budget.
Anyway, that’s my story for today and I’m sticking to it.
