Bad Preshow

The preshow festivities for tonight’s Patriots game were among the worst I have ever seen. I didn’t think that anything could dampen my desire to see the game but the preshow, (featuring Jessica Simpson, Elton John, and Toby Keith, among others), certainly did. I was happy that the game, at least, was a great one. It’s too bad that the Sox couldn’t win tonight, too, especially considering the Yanks won two earlier in the day.

Have I mentioned that I’ve got all my Instant Message programs up and running after a year or so? One of the things I installed over the weekend was Trillian, which lets you hookup to all of the major IM services. So, if you’re looking to talk to me, check it out. MSilver669 on AOL, popbtrash on Yahoo, on MSN. I think I have an ICQ number now, too, but I’m not sure what it is.

In other, actually important news, I managed to get quite a bit of writing done today. That was a nice change. I might actually make the deadline now. The chapter is still going to be short, though. I thought I was going to have a lot more meat with this revision, but I think it’ll still come out to 15 double-spaced pages, just like the last draft. Weird.

Bed time now.
