So I put out the word on this website I found that I was looking for artists to work with me on the comic book idea I’ve been stewing on for years. I don’t know what I expected, but I ended up getting a lot of responses. Some of them were okay, a couple were great, but many were just eh. The truth is, none of them just blew me away and part of me is thinking that when I finally get around to working on this idea, I want a partner whose work just stuns me.

Of course, I shouldn’t even really be thinking about this with a deadline for school coming up, but it’s been on my mind off and on a lot lately and I just felt the need to see what my options were. The best of the replies I got were looking for money up front, which, of course, I couldn’t offer. The next best seemed to be perpetually busy with other work. The remainder seemed more than willing to work with me, but I’m not sure if I’d want to work with them.

Some of them, the clever ones, may even be reading this page, if they deduced that I have a personal webpage in the way that I uncovered some of theirs (by careful snooping, of course). I don’t care. When have I ever cared if someone was reading this? This is my forum and anyone who doesn’t like it, doesn’t have to read it.

Anyway, that’s my deal for today. I worked a bunch and then tried to write and maybe wrote something okay and then I watched some of the extras on the Star Wars DVDs that Stef bought me for my birthday.
