An Evil Genius I’m Not
I got a little bit of M
All of this perhaps should have kept me from going out to lunch with KenMills this afternoon, but it didn’t. I have absolutely zero social life for most of my life and I needed to get out. I mean, I was in the middle of writing what will probably amount to the most depressing chapter in the entire novel that I’m working on for school. I had all this other stuff wearing on me. All things considered, I think I made the right choice.
Ken and I ate at the Chili’s down the street from his house. Our waitress, Tricia, was someone I went to high school with, or at least I think she was. I had a big burger and a couple of Smirnoff Ices and all was good in the world. After, Ken showed me a cool-ass video game called Evil Genius and a couple of video clips on the internet that I had not yet seen.
When I got home, I finished the chapter I was working on and then I did grocery shopping. By the time that was over, I had a massive fucking headache. Stef came home around then, too, and it was time to cook dinner. I did that, we ate, and then I came up here to try and get some schoolwork done.
I tried, I really did, but it was hard. I couldn’t get anything going. When I was just getting too frustrated, I slipped NBA Live 2003 into the computer and played myself a game.
I just finished and now I’m going to bed. Maybe tomorrow will work out better for me on the school front. One can only hope.
