Late Night Star Wars
I went to see an early-morning screening of The Phantom Menace back in 1999 with John and a couple of his friends, coming out of the theater just as the sun was coming up. In 2002, I took in a midnight showing of Attack of the Clones with JonMartin and some others. But this time I’m not sure I’ll be making it to a late night showing. I’m dying to see Revenge of the Sith, but I’m not sure I’ll end up seeing it until Thursday night when I go to see it with Stef.
I am disappointed in myself. Not a lot, but a teensy bit. I’ve already said to Stephanie that if, for some reason, my boss doesn’t want me to come in tomorrow, I will find a way. The theater near us in Merrimack still had seats open for a midnight show the last time I checked. But I don’t hold out hope. If I have to go into work tomorrow, and I imagine I will, there is no way I am going to a midnight show.
Besides, the finale of Smallville is on tonight and I don’t know if I can go to see a Star Wars flick after immersing myself for 90 minutes in an entirely seperate mythos.
What do the rest of you think? Will any of you be going to midnight or late-night showings? Have any of you already seen it? Let me know.
