The Bride of the Sunday SpeedWrite

I played a lot of Star Wars: Rogue Squadron today after figuring out why the thing was acting so screwy on my machine. There silly video card was accelerating everything just a little too much which made the game impossible to play. I fixed it a bit and everything started to work swimmingly. That’s what I did in the afternoon. During the day I many other things, none of them anymore interesting than playing Rogue Squadron.

Stef and I went out to breafkast at IHOP and she was noting every pregnant woman she saw. Its pretty funny when you’re thinking about getting pregnant how many pregnant people start showing up. Sort of like when you’re really dying to own a Playstation II there’s a bunch of yahoos cavorting around the shopping malls and the internet, teasing your poor unfortunate ass about how you don’t have one.

We spent the balance of the day discussing whether or not I should self-publish a collection of my short stories. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for quite a long time but I go back and forth on it becuase of a bunch of things.

I am having a really hard time typing fast tonight. I don’t know why. There are a lot of mistakes flowing through my fingers tonight. I don’t get it.

After we got back from breakfast I napped on the couch for a while and then we went out to take care of some shopping. Stef had to pick some stuff up at Michaels (a crafts store) and we stopped into Best Buy to learn about printers from the HP Representative that was there because we’re in desperate need of a new printer.

Tonight after my epic bout with Rogue Squadron we flipped between the movie City Slickers and Game 7 of the NBA Western Conference Finals. The Lakers and the Kings played an excellent game and even though the outcome was again not what I wanted, I was very happy to have gotten the chance to watch it.

That’s it for the Bride of the Sunday SpeedWrite. Perhaps tomorrow we’ll finally get to talking about Portland, ME… that is unless I forget again.
