Blogging the birth
I haven’t mentioned it online yet, but I intend to use Expression Engine’s nifty moblog feature, in combination with my cellphone, to update the website remotely during Kaylee’s birth. It’s an idea I am cribbing shamelessly from Matt Haughey (though I probably won’t do the photos; Stef would probably kill me) and I think it’ll be neat.
Of course, I might be distracted and forget to do it, so I make no guarantees. After all, as ridiculously important as this webpage is to me, my wife and baby are little more important.
I’m trying to think of some funny way to end that thought, because I think this entry comes off as entirely too serious, but I’m coming up blank. So, just re-read the entry and imagine me smiling while typing it and I think we’ll be fine.
