State of the Union
It turns out I was probably a bit melodramatic in my perception of last night’s events. Yes, things were said and feelings were hurt but it was a fight. No more. No less. It wasn’t the end of something. It wasn’t the catastrophe that I envisioned it to be all of last night and all of today It was a fight and a wakeup call.
“Don’t do this again.”
Bush is giving the State of the Union tonight and I’m not really all that interested. The State of the Union is a formality. It’s the President relaying to us all of the same information we get inundated with day in and day out except with a bit more drama.
A bit more melodrama perhaps?
