Dean's Named Chief
Newly-named Democratic Party Chief Howard Dean says, "We believe that a lifetime of work earns you a retirement of dignity... We will not let that be put at risk by leaders who continually invent false crises to justify policies that don't work, in this case borrowing from our children, shredding our social safety net in the process."
I always liked Dean and I was pissed off when he fell out of favor just for showing some fucking enthusiasm in what is sometimes a dull-as-fuck process. But, do I like him as chair of the party? I'm not sure. I mean, if he couldn't win the damn presidential nomination over lifeless John fucking Kerry, what makes us think that he'll be able to steer us all successfully towards usurping power from Jesusland?
I hope he does well, but I do worry a bit.
