Epic Rap Battles of History

by Jon Frazier

This may be old news to some, but I just discovered the Epic Rap Battles of History series by Nice Peter. The series came to my attention this week with the timely release of “Gandalf Vs. Dumbledore.”

I am amused.

I am entertained.

I am totally jealous that I didn’t think of it first.

But I forgive series creator/producer Nice Peter (an improv comedian based in Los Angeles) because he’s answering the questions we geeks have been asking since…forever.

Does Einstein beat Stephen Hawking?

Come on. Don’t even try to tell me you haven’t always wondered.

I’m a little embarrassed that I didn’t know about the series already. There a 11 rap battles total, the first having been release last September. There’s even a Youtube-Hitler follow up to the Vader/Hitler rap battle. The entire collection is available on iTunes. But I’ve got over being late to the party and am now annoying everyone I know with Facebook posts and forwarded emails about Nice Peter’s hypothetical smackdowns.

So, as Nicepeter asks:

“Who Won?”

“Who’s Next?”
