I’ve been working this week (and for the better part of last week) on a major overhaul of this website and on a special treat to get readers to sign up for my mailing list. The mailing list should be, for creative workers, a pillar of any marketing/business plan. Facebook, Twitter, even dear Patreon — these could all go away at any moment. But an email list is ours to keep. We never want to be entirely beholden to some other company when communicating with our fans, but many of us are.
My mailing list is abysmally small at the moment, and I'm hoping that this special treat will be enough to entice people to join. In the future, on this new website I'm working on, the sign-up process will be far easier. But that’s not ready yet. Soon.
